The Foundation

Today Superior Walls brought in the foundation and started putting it together. A couple of panels needed to go back to the factory to get redone due to wrong measurements. They should be installed by the end of the week.

There was a little challenge getting the truck into the site. It kept getting stuck in the mud.

 Gravel was brought in earlier in the week and the foundation was laid out.

 The crane used to lift the panels into place.

 First corner in place. This is the back corner of the house where the den will be. Above the line where the tabs are is where the brick will go.

Getting Ready For the Foundation

We stopped by the site today to see the latest progress on the clearing. We had some more trees taken out in the front and back, basically anything that can hit the house during a bad storm. Below is a photo looking towards where the front of the house will be. The driveway is to the right. I will add pictures from this vantage point as the house goes up. In the meantime we will finally close on the construction loan on Friday (my birthday!) The superior Wall foundation has been ordered so that will be the next step.
