Happy New Year everyone! 2012 was a year of transition for us, full of exciting changes. As much as I look forward to being settled into our new home I’ve throughly enjoyed the house building process. Sometimes a change is definitely in order so that we don’t get stuck in the proverbial rut. Now that the drywall is in, we are told that it will be 60 days until completion, which means we are looking at early March for a move-in date. At least this time we won’t be moving in extreme heat! As you can see in the picture below, the siding is finished on the back and the 2 sides.
Great Room.

I love a house with a high ceiling! I feel like there's a lot of breathing room. It helps me feel comfortable in the house. Congratulations to you guys! A new year; a new home!

I like the structure of your house! It was patterned with the slope of the hill! It’s so beautiful! The idea makes me want to live there! Haha! But I’m curious though—what you would do with the lower part of your house. It seemed lacked some sidings.

ReplyDeleteIt's indeed a Happy New Year for you guys! Congratulations on having a new and spacious place! I can see that your roof and sidings were well taken care of, and the color combination you chose looks good as well. I admit that I'm a bit envious with your new place, but I'm happy for you guys nonetheless. I can't wait to see it done completely!
